The Art of Letting Go

The Full Circle Seminars presents
The Art of Letting Go
March 31 to April 1, 2012
@ The Well Being Behavioral Health and Fitness Center
1118 Front Ave NW
Grand Rapids, MI 49504

For years now we have been presenting various workshops such as The Painting with Music Workshop. In the last months we have spent a lot of time organizing our thoughts and efforts and resources so that we could continue to present and refine what has already found such great success.

We have assembled a top notch team of professionals that have brought with them, incredible skills passion and determination.

First of all therapists, Brendan Kelly and Timothy Pieri of The Well Being, LLC in Grand Rapids have been more than awesome. Their openness and drive to expand and expose new ways of thinking are truly inspiring to us. Please check out what they do at their web site.

The next member of the team is musician/percussionist, Rick Neuhaus. We collaborated with him last October in Chicago with a live painting with drum circle session/experiment.

Rick has the ability to make everyone feel at ease as he facilitates getting everyone through some pretty complex artistically musical negotiations. Among other things Rick is the leader of the Chicago based percussion group, Near Hemisphere.

We want to introduce The Full Circle Seminars and present our first official presentation of The Art of Letting Go. We are going to focus on creative thought, mindfulness, cognitive therapy, letting go and happiness.

The Colorboration Project Chicago Continues

March 2011 we debuted The Colorboration Project Chicago in Logan Square. During that time we collaborated with some amazing people and musicians. We learned a lot and made a lot of art. We have continued to cultivate many of the friendships we began last March.  We were in Chicago in October for a  while after ArtPrize and did several things, not the least of which was two wonderful night at Brown Rice with Renee' Baker and a sextet from the Chicago Modern Orchestra Project...

On the last night before Tali returned home to the Netherlands we had  very special night with our friend Rick Neuhaus. Rick put together a drum circle made up of some members of his group Near Hemisphere and also gave every one in the audience an instrument so that everyone was in the band.

It was magical.

It is with this energy and momentum that Tali and I will be back in Chicago March 17 - April 24, 2012 to do The Colorboration Project Chicago Loop.

Thanks to the Chicago Loop Alliance and the Pop-Up Art Loop we will be in a downtown space at 208 S. Wabash Avenue. We are very excited and already have a very full schedule of collaborators.

Please stay tuned for what is about to happen. If you are in Chicago, plan on stopping by, it will be worth it.

Let's make 2012 amazing.
